Deanna Golden-Kreutz

Deanna Golden-Kreutz was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She began her studies at The Ohio State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in psychology. She received an M.A. in counseling psychology from the University of Notre Dame in 1987 and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from The Ohio State University in 1993. She is a clinical health psychologist with experience in the development and management of clinical trial protocols. Her primary clinical and research interests include the effect of medical illness on mood, stress, and coping. She worked with the Stress and Immunity Cancer Projects for over ten years (1993-2004) as a post-doctoral fellow, research associate, and co-facilitator of the intervention groups for the Stress and Immunity Cancer Projects. She is currently the manager of the Cardiovascular Clinical Research Unit (CCRU) at The Ohio State University Medical Center. She is also a practicing psychotherapist who specializes in stress management for medical patients.
